Wet and windy parkrun
Today was my second parkrun back in Southampton following three parkruns in Australia… and what a contrast it was. The weather was absolutely horrendous this morning. Many parkruns across the country were cancelled and several other local parkruns (including Mountbatten and Brockenhurst) were cancelled after runners arrived. It was a cold, wet and windy parkrun. I was quite surprised that there were no trees down on the course.
To be honest, I didn’t really feel like running. M, Stu and I all have colds and M woke us several times in the night as she was struggling to breathe.
In the end, I slogged around and finished in 31:48.
I also stepped in to help out after I had run.
Did you do a wet and windy parkrun this weekend?
Team SOAS 2020
I’m excited to be back on Team SOAS again in 2020. We were given a choice of two kits. I spent a long time choosing between the two options:
You’ll have to keep reading to find out which one I opted for. Which one would you choose?
