Do you live in the moment?
There will be a day when I can no longer do this. That day is not today.
Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.
Too often I worry about training sessions that have not got well. I also spend time thinking about future training sessions and whether I’ll be able to fit enough in before my next race. I definitely need to make the most of the present.
What have you got planned to make your week awesome?
Adding a speed session to my training programme, planned for Wednesday and I’m thinking intervals on the treadmill at the gym 🙂 How about you?
I love speedwork… altough not necessarily at the time. I had a rest day yesterday after my long swim on Sunday, so tonight I’ve got a bike session followed by a track session. It’s feeling hot outside, so I’m glad that the track will be in the shade by the time I get there!
My first swim after coming back from a broken arm!
Good luck with your swim. I found it so difficult to get back into swimming after my arm/shoulder injury and it’s not all quite as it should be yet. Take it easy and don’t push yourself too hard 🙂
