I watched The Miracle Season on Netflix and although it’s predictable in places, I also found it moving as I knew it was based on a true story.
I don’t think it’s too much of a spoiler to say that the eponymous character, Line, passes away not long into the film. Instead the narrative focuses on what her friends and family do.
Alongside the film, it’s possible to watch programmes relating to the real events, such as the following HBO Special.
It’s often impossible to anticipate how you would respond to the death of a friend. I found this film really inspirational.
